AEWEN IS THE UNION OF MY PASSIONS FOR NATURE, BEAUTY, AND THE MOST BELOVED CONFECTION, CHOCOLATE. STITCHED FROM THE MEANING OF THE ANCIENT WORDS ‘AWEN’ AND ‘WEN’, THE NAME AEWEN EMBODIES A SACRED BREATH THAT AWAKENS CREATIVITY AND INFUSES LIFE WITH RADIANT JOY.
EACH CHOCOLATE IS HAND-CRAFTED FROM OUR HUNDRED-ACRE WOOD IN WAVERLY, ALABAMA, AND IT IS MY JOY TO SHARE THEM WITH YOU.

The chocolates are akin to that of a bonbon—an outer shell of tempered chocolate filled with a soft ganache or caramel. Each chocolate is hand-crafted in small batches and never frozen. The entire process from painting the shells to boxing the finished chocolates takes 5+ days. It is truly a labor of love!
My offerings change based on the seasons as I enjoy celebrating seasonal ingredients. I use organic, single-origin couverture chocolate in all of my recipes and source organically for all other ingredients as much as possible.
I offer them in a box or 12 or 6.
-
I use organic cocoa butter mixed with naturally derived pigments. I do not use any artificial colorants.
-
I will announce on my Instagram page when preorders will open. You can also set up an alert HERE to receive a text. I deliver all chocolates to the Auburn (and surrounding areas) and Birmingham.
If preorders are “closed,” that means it is the end of the preorder window, or they are sold out.
-
At this time they are only available for delivery in Auburn, AL or Birmingham, AL.
-
The flavors in each box are predetermined, and I am unable to offer custom boxes. Both boxes of 12 and 6 will contain six different flavors.
-
Please enjoy your chocolates within two weeks. Store them in a cool, dry environment (ideally between 65-70F). Please keep the box closed and away from sunlight.
Please do not store the chocolates in the refrigerator. If you do they will likely lose their shine and the texture of the fillings may be altered.
-
All of my chocolates contain dairy, and I am not able to offer a dairy-free or vegan option. I do not use any gluten-containing ingredients. Several of my chocolates contain nuts or seeds. It is important that if you or a loved one has an allergy you review the included ingredient card thoroughly.
-
For a large production, it takes me a full week to produce chocolates as it is an intricate, multi-step process that I do all by hand. I never freeze my chocolates, so everything is made to order by me, myself, and I! In addition, the cost of cocoa has risen over 150% since early 2024. Combined with premium ingredients and rising production costs, this has made artisan chocolates more expensive to produce.
-
Due to the nature of this being an edible product, I do not offer refunds or exchanges. I am not responsible for the chocolates once they are passed on to the customer, and it is the customer’s responsibility to maintain a proper environment for the chocolates.
